Micromax has announced that its next Yu phone i.e Yutopia will be the fastest Android device ever (tablets are underpowered). As of now, the top 3 slots are occupied by Samsung Galaxy Note Pro, S6 and S6 edge with Antutu scores in a range of 55000 to 67000.
The Antutu ratings of Yutopia should be better than that of Galaxy S6 i.e above 66000 in order to shift Samsung to the 2nd position. This seems to be highly unlikely because the domestic manufacturer is expected to use a Snapdragon or Mediatek chip in its latest device.
S6 comes with Exynos 7420 processor and it beats Snapdragon 810 in every benchmark test (according to this report). 810 is the latest Qualcomm chip and Snapdragon 820 will be introduced next year.
Anyways, Micromax has revealed the packaging box of Yutopia. The box looks attractive and it comes printed the most powerful phone ever tagline. The founder, Rahul Sharma has claimed that Yutopia is the real beast.
What are the expected features of Micromax Yutopia?
As far as the specs are concerned, Yutopia will feature a 4GB RAM because Micromax seems to be in a mood to compete with the likes of OnePlus, Google, Huawei, and Asus.
Micromax Yutopia will be faster than Yuphoria plus because it will include Snapdragon 64 bit 810 processor. The phone will also deliver a solid gaming experience as it will have a quad-core graphics chip. It will be enabled with high-speed LTE 4G connectivity technology. Graphics and video quality will be amazing as the display will have 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The screen will be within 5 to 5.5 inches.
Along with the computing hardware, Micromax will add USB Type-C connector to Yutoia. For data security and user’s privacy, Yutopia will come installed with a fingerprint sensor.
All Yu series phone are powered with CyanogenMod and Yutopia will not be an exception.
Lollipop OS will be installed in this handset because Android 5.1 is the latest and stable Android release by Google. Android Marshmallow (version 6.0) has not been officially launched yet.
Micromax Yutopia will be fitted with high-resolution full HD cameras at its both sides. Front side is like to come with 13 or 8MP sensor whereas the back side will include 16.0+ megapixel camera.
The above configuration will surely make Yutopia as the best Micromax phone ever. But i don’t think that it will be considered in the same line as high-end Galaxy handsets.
Micromax Yutopia will be unleashed next month i.e October and it is expected to hit eCommerce stores before Dussehra or Diwali. Its price will be within Rs 20000 and 22000. Like Micromax Yunique, this phone has been built in India.
