Last week, Asus had announced on its official Facebook page that it will launch two new 4G smartphones. The company gave a hint that the mobiles are designed for all and they’ll have an octa-core processor and a large battery.

Well, the phones have been finally launched. Many people had anticipated that the Taiwanese tech giant will launch Zenfone Max Pro M2 but this didn’t happen. Instead of launching the successor to Max Pro M1, Asus introduced two new Zenfone Max series 5000 to 10000 Rs range phones. The mobiles resemble Asus’s best-selling phone in India – the Zenfone Max Pro M1 and they have good features.

Let’s first see the features of the two handsets!

Max M1 price is Rs 8999. As it is a festive season in India, the mobile will be sold for just 7499 Rs. Max M1 carries a 64-bit Snapdragon 430 1.4 GHz processor and 4000 mAh capacity battery. It has a fingerprint sensor, a 13MP back camera, and an 8MP front camera. The mobile has a metallic finish and it is powered by Android Oreo OS based ZenUI.

The Asus phone has a 5.45-inch HD+ display, two SIM slot, a dedicated MicroSD slot, 32GB storage memory, and 3GB RAM. Asus Zenfone Max M1 supports 10 Watt adapters.

Zenfone Lite L1 is the other handset launched by Asus. Its price Rs 6999. Asus will sell Lite l1 for Rs 5999 for a limited time.

L1 has SD 430 processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, and it supports MicroSD cards. The Asus mobile flaunts a 13MP rear and a 5MP front-facing camera. It features 3000 mAh capacity battery and a front/back led flash. Zenfone Lite L1 provides face unlock feature and it lacks a fingerprint sensor. It runs on ZenUI 5.

Zenfone Max M1 weights 150 grams. Lite L1 is a lighter mobile. It weighs 140 grams. Both mobiles support VoLTE technology. They have a maximum brightness level of 400 nits. They have a Bluetooth 4.0 chip and support GPS navigation technology.

The two new Asus phones will go on sale from the 1st day of the upcoming Flipkart Diwali Dhamaka sales.

During the upcoming Flipkart Diwali Dhamaka sales, buyers of the Max M1 and Lite L1 phones will get 10% additional discount if they own a Mastercard. Axis Bank Buzz credit card users will enjoy 5% discount. Jio will provide Rs 2200 cashback in the form of 50 Rs vouchers to the people who buy the phone and use JIO SIM card.
