Oppo has launched its first budget phone of 2018, the RealMe 1 in India for INR 8990 Rs. Like other Oppo handsets, RealMe has a great design. The handset boasts a glossy back cover that flaunts several polygonal patterns. It has thin bezels.
The mobile offers incredible features. RealMe features a 5.991-inch IPS display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels, 18:9 aspect ratio, and 297+ pixel density.
The Oppo smartphone includes three slots, two for SIM cards and one for a 256, 128, 64, 32, 8GB MicroSD card. It supports dual VoLTE technology and carries a MediaTek P60 Helio series Cortex A72 architecture based 64-bit octa-core 2.0 GHz 12Nm processor.
RealMe packs 3410 mAh battery. According to Oppo, the battery usage of the phone is monitored by an AI technology powered function. The function learns how the phone’s battery is utilized. It also kills background apps that are not being used by the user.
Oppo RealMe offers 8-megapixels selfie camera and a LED flash powered 13-megapixels back camera. It supports scene recognition technology and bokeh effect.
RealMe is powered by Color 5.1 OS (Android 8.1 operating system based ROM). It has a 154.9 grams weight and Mali MP3 G72 processor.
Realme 1 lacks a fingerprint sensor. The mobile provides face unlock feature. Instead of employing a biometric sensor, Realme will recognize user’s face programmatically. P60’s AI unit will handle the face recognizer function of the RM1 handset.
The mobile’s screen and back cover isn’t scratch proof. Oppo will provide a free screen protector and case to the buyers of the RealMe phone.
Oppo will sell the following two variants of RealMe in India:
RealMe will be available for purchase from 25th May onwards in two color options, red and black. SBI debit/credit card users will enjoy 5% cashback when they’ll buy Oppo’s new device. Amazon will offer up to 80% discount on Kindle books to the users who buy Realme online. RJIO will provide benefits of up to 4850 to the buyers of Oppo’s latest handset.
Realme is an Amazon exclusive device. Although the mobile doesn’t have a fingerprint reader, it has a killer design, a lot of RAM and a powerful processor. It is a good alternative to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Xiaomi Redmi 5.
Oppo is one of the top brands in India. The company has a good presence in the local markets and has over 450 service centers across India. Will you buy the 9000 Rs RealMe1 Oppo phone or you’ll go with a Xiaomi Redmi series device?
