Vodafone India has launched its latest USB 3G dongle named K4201. This device is claimed to be the fastest USB internet connecting device till date. This Vodafone device has been priced near 990 to 1000 Rs and it would be available in red, black and white-red color options. It comes with a maximum internet download or upload speeds of 21.1 and 5.76 MBPS respectively. K4201 from Vodafone is compatible with all popular Linux distros which include Fedora and Ubuntu. It is also compatible with Mac and Windows 7, 8 operating system.
K4201 can be purchased in 2 different plans – if the users pay for the 3G internet usage for the first 6 months, they’ll get 2 months free internet. The other plan is that users will get 100 Rs discount for every time they pay the 650,750, 850 Rs bill (Vodafone 3G plans) bill for the 1st 12 months. K4201 from Vodafone comes with interesting features like a new and a better dialer, better customer support, 32 GB MicroSD card slot (which makes the K4201 dongle behave like a USB pen-drive), limit alerts, internet usage monitors, etc.
At the launch of this cheap internet connecting device, Mr. Vivek Mathur, the CCO of Vodafone India quoted “With the growing penetration of data, there is a constant demand for high-speed connectivity. The launch of Vodafone K4201 3G dongle, with consistent connectivity and up to 21.1 Mbps superfast data transfer caters to this demand for high-speed mobile data services.”.
