The upcoming mirrorless camera Olympus PEN Lite E-PL7 will be launched by 30th of September. The company has revealed the key features of this device through its press release. As per the available details, E-PL7 is based on the MFT standard.
This camera is built with light-weight components, hence it’s highly portable. It has a detachable HD touchscreen fitted to its bottom. The display system is configured to respond on single touch events. Thus, you have to tap the screen once to capture images.
E-PL7 from Olympus can be controlled and paired with mobile devices via OI.Share app or WiFi. It includes a self timer function that allows you to easily click sequential shots. The camera can snap 8 pictures within a second.

This device lets you apply various effects (including vintage, partial color) and filters on the images. PEN E-PL7 is incorporated with a MOS 16.0 MP sensor. It has an aperture lens that supports wide-angle views. It uses the powerful TruePic VII engine to process images.
E-PL7 is fitted with the thinnest zoom lens. It is 59.9 millimeters thick. The shutter speed of this mirrorless camera under 1000 dollars can be set manually.
Olympus E-PL7 features old film effect. When you use it, you can record videos just like a cameraman filming in the 19th century. It lets you merge up to 4 different pictures into one. Its display can be moved up to 79 degrees upwards and 181 degrees downwards. It gets current through 4 AA sized batteries. It comes with a flash.
This mirrorless camera can be owned in silver, white and black color options for a starting price around 600 dollars (within 30000 to 37000 Rs in India).
