Lenovo’s mid-range camera phone Vibe S1 has been launched in India for 15999 Rs. The USP of this handset is its twin front selfie cameras that feature 8 and 2 megapixels sensors respectively. Unlike other Vibe range of Lenovo mobiles, S1 has dual front cameras. According to Lenovo, these 2 sensors will allow users to apply various types of special effects and they’ll result in crisper photos. In other handsets, this is possible only with a third-party app.
S1 has magic cutter utility that will allow you to replace the background of the selfie with any other picture stored on your phone. It has blur effect that will make every object in the background opaque.
Lenovo claims that Vibe S1 is a specially designed camera phone. Along with Blur and background swap module, this device has several types of filter to make images sharper and better. Its higher resolution 8 million pixel sensor will capture your images. The 2nd sensor will analyze the color, contrast, brightness of the environment so that any abnormality and flaws detected in captured selfie can be fixed manually by the user with the inbuilt filters of the phone.
Lenovo Vibe S1 supports one-touch refocus. Because of its superior features, you will not find it necessary to install camera apps for Android.
The smartphone has a color flash system at the back along with a powerful full HD 13 MP camera. It has MT6572 octa-core 64-bit Mediatek chip and 160 GB storage capacity (128 GB microSD, 32 GB internal ROM). It is fitted with 2 Nano SIM card readers and 3GB RAM. Its thickness is below 7.9 millimeters. One of the SIM card slot in this Lenovo phone will function as a microSD reader.
This Lenovo handset has a beautifully designed curved back panel. It runs Lollipop OS. It has a 5 inch full HD display gorilla glass protected and 2420 mAh capacity battery. Because of its 138 grams weight, Vibe S1 can be considered as one of the lightest smartphones in 15000 to 18000 Rs segment along with OnePlus X.
Lenovo Vibe S1 is an Amazon exclusive device. It will be officially sold from 24th of November onward for 16000 Rupees. It is the 1st phone in India to feature dual selfie cameras. Because of its unique setup, S1 will attract youngsters obsessed with front cameras on their phones.

Lenovo will launch a separate flash accessory for Vibe S1. This accessory will connect to the 3.5 mm port of the phone to assist its front cameras.
