Xiaomi has unveiled 4 new products on the occasion of its 5th birthday. The products launched are Redmi 2A, phone, a digital weight scale, power strip and the much-awaited Mi TV 2. These 4 gadgets are affordable and they offer excellent features.
The Mi power strip is a 7 dollars (below 500 Rs) device with 3 USB ports. It requires 3.1 amperes current to work. According to Xiaomi, this device will save 82 percent of power and it’s built with high-quality bronze and copper materials.
Xiaomi Mi Power strip offers 3 level of protection. It can function at very high temperature. The design of the power strip is compact. It has dimensions as that of a pencil box. The new Xiaomi product features a smart LED system. The brightness of the LED indicator is automatically lowered when the room light has been turned off by the user.
Xiaomi Mi weight scale can be used to detect the weight of very light objects. It has been built and designed by IYunMai, a popular Chinese weigh scale manufacturer. This device is fitted with hard glass and it features LED display system.
This cheap scale comes with a Bluetooth module. Thus, users can connect their Android devices, IPhone or Mi band with it. This Xiaomi device can track your BMI and weight in kg/lbs formats.
Xiaomi Redmi 2A is a 100 dollars phone that features a LeadCore quad-core 1.5 GHz processor. It has MIUI V6 OS along with low power DDR3 1GB RAM. This handset comes stuffed with 8GB eMMC (flash storage) and a 2200 mAh capacity battery.
Redmi 2A includes IPS touchscreen HD 4.7 inch display, 5.0 MP front and rear 8.0 MP cameras. It supports LTE, 3G, and all other basic network connectivity options.
This handset seems to be a replacement for the Redmi 1S. Redmi 2 seems to be a better option than 2A as it includes more RAM and it has a processor from an established brand.
