Budget phones from Xiaomi, Asus, and Motorola have turned things around for domestic players as well as for major brands like Samsung, HTC, Sony. There was a time when 512 MB RAM installed handsets in Samsung’s Galaxy series were sold like hot cakes in India.

Gionee and Karbonn have decided to follow the LAVA route of taking on Xiaomi, Motorola, and Asus by launching a dual SIM Android Kit Kat phone with front LED flash.
Karbonn’s Android device has been named as MachOne S310. This phone comes with a quad-core 1.3 GHz MTK chip and Mali image processor fitted below its IPS HD 4.7 inch display. It has been installed with a 1GB RAM module and Android Kit Kat 4.4 operating system.
Karbonn MachOne S310 comes with a rear BSI 8.0-megapixel sensor. It boasts an LED flash and 5.0 MP camera at the front. The MachOne comes with an ordinary 1800 mAh battery. It is 8.1 mm thin handset that supports 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-FI.
Gionee has decided to add one more handset to the pioneer series, its most popular brand in India. Dubbed as Pioneer P6, this mobile phone below 9000 comes with the same volume of RAM, GPU and storage capacity as the Karbonn S310.
The handset offers a 5.0 inch IPS display with HD screen resolution and 280+ pixel density. Gionee P6 includes a 2.0 MP front selfie camera paired with an LED flash system. It includes a 5.0 MP sensor equipped rear camera.
This device runs Android Kit Kat OS. It has a 1950 mAh capacity battery. Thus, its battery backup is better than MachOne S310. Network connectivity is supported via 2 SIM cards, Bluetooth, WIFI. As you see in the below image, P6 comes preloaded with UCbrowser and some useful apps.
Talking about the pricing and availability, Karbonn MachOne S310 can be owned for a price within 6800 to 7K through Snapdeal. Gionee Pioneer P6 has been listed on eBay with a price tag around 8900.
