Indian Govt has added a new page on its MyGov portal through which you can apply for a contract based job. The GOVT is calling the new portal as Citizen Engagement Platform.
MyGov site is accepting resumes for hiring contract based Editorial writers, researchers, software developers, scientists, graphics designers, video/script editors, advertising professionals, app developers, and more.
The user must submit their resume in PDF format through this page. You must mention the role on the 1st page of the PDF file. Don’t forget to mention your skills, experiences, full details so that the chances of Government hiring thou increases.
As the Govt will have plenty of resumes to shortlist, they can negotiate the payment with the contractual job seeker. Hence, this will be a win-win situation for both the Government and the employment seeking person.
Scientist, Software and app development: You must have an MTech, BTech, BE, B.Sc IT/CS, MS, M.Sc IT/CS, MCA, BCA degree to work as a developer.
Writers: Existing work experience will play a crucial role in the selection of writers. If you’re applying for this job, add samples of your work. The sample can be an excerpt from an article you have written for a website, etc.
Advertising Social Media experts: You must have excellent marketing skills to apply for this position. You can mention the successful campaigns that you were a part of for increasing the chances of your selection.
Selection will not be easy. The expert panel will have to shortlist a few resumes from 1000s of submissions. They may use a software for the same. Make sure that your CV has detailed information before you submit an application for the contract based job.
By this time, the site has received over 150 applications. The panel of experts has not shortlisted any CV yet.
MyGov website has mentioned that submitting a CV on the site doesn’t guarantee employment
