Asus is expected to launch a new line of tablets very soon (probably by 1st week of August 2015). According to the unofficial listing on some Russian online retail stores, the upcoming tablets are named as Zenpad 7 and 8. Zenpad 7 is an inexpensive tablet that will be introduced in 2 variants (with model numbers Z170C and Z170CG). Both versions of this tablet are priced under 200 dollars.
The Asus Zenpad 7 is a 3900 mAh capacity battery installed tablet that has an HD 7 inches touchscreen display. It features a 1.3 megapixels camera at the front. It is fitted with a 2 MP sensor at the back and there’s the latest energy efficient Intel X3 quad-core CPU residing in the body of Zenpad 7. Asus Z170C supports WiFi network connectivity. Z170CG supports calling over GSM, 3G networks.
Asus Zenpad 8 is a yet another tablet with a Z series quad-core processor from Intel. This device has 8 inches display that supports a very high resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. As the resolution is better than full HD, you can expect the pixel density to be over 401.
Zenpad 8 flaunts powerful cameras and it includes 2GB RAM. It supports 64 GB storage hardware. This tablet was 1st spotted on FCC website. The complete features are not available at this point in time. But stay tuned as we’ll update this article when Asus officially announces the launch of these new Zenpad tablets at upcoming Commutex event.
After launching Zenfone 2, Asus has now introduced its 1st 10000 mAh capacity Zen power bank for mobile owners in India.
This new smartphone accessory from Asus has been listed on Flipkart and its price tag is around 1500 Rs. The Zen power bank has dimensions as that of a credit or debit card. Its 10050 mAh Lithium ION battery takes 360 minutes to get completely charged. When charging of phone/tablet is complete, the power supply is automatically cut off in this power bank.
This device can produce 2.4 A current output. Asus has claimed that its ZenPower bank has a better lifespan than its competitors as it has been built with JEITA technology.
