Ricoh Pentax WG-30W digital camera available for $299

The imaging division of Ricoh has added 2 new budget digital cameras WG-30 and 30W to its pentax series. Each of the 2 shooters are fitted with a 16.0 megapixel CMOS 1/2.3 inch sensor. They feature a 11 element Ricoh lens that has a max 25 millimeters focal length.

The cameras are enabled with 3 types of auto-focus modes, 5 times optical and 7.2 times digital zoom. Both Roch WG-30, WG-30W come with a 2.7 inch LCD which is protected with AR coating.

They are powered with a D-LI92 lithium ION battery which produces current up-to 301 still shots and around. Both these devices feature burst and continuous shooting. They are enabled with center-weighted, spot and multi-segment metering systems. The cameras include a red-eye reduction and self-timer functions.

They offer 64 megabytes of expandable internal storage memory and HDMI, USB connectivity options. WG-30W can be connected with Eye-Fi cards as it features much advanced WiFi system than its other siblings in the same series. These 2 Ricoh digital cameras can work underwater (at a depth of 40 feet) for around 120 minutes.

WG-30 weighs around 0.192 KG and it measures 4.8 x 2.42 x 1.16 inches in dimension. Ricoh pentax WG-30W weighs 194 grams and it has 121.92 x 60.96 x 30.48 mm dimensions. Both the snappers are priced below $300 and they’re available in multiple color options.
