Acer will launch a brand new series of 15 and 17 inches gaming laptops in the coming weeks. The company has labeled its new portfolio as Aspire V Nitro. Designed to deliver a superb gaming experience, these upcoming laptops are packed with the latest 4 generation Intel processor.

They are equipped with a powerful NVIDIA GTX860M GPU. This chip can handle graphics delivered by the latest Direct X 11.2, Open CL 1.1 and Open GL 4.4 rendering engines.

The dedicated graphics memory in the device is expected to be around 2/4 GB. To keep the chips safe from being over-heated, users will get an option to manually enable the turbo boost mode.

When this mode is activated, the cooling fans will operate at higher speeds. V nitro notebooks support network connectivity with 4 WiFi antennas at a time. You can thus expect a superb performance from network based multi-player games.

The laptops have 4 speakers built-In. They sport a full HD Anti-glare IPS display. They are encompassed with an impressive 1 terabyte storage space. Thus, you can save as many files as you want.

Users of the laptops will get an option to pair the HDD with a 256 GB SSD. The device will have a Blue-RAY/M-Disc player fitted within its chassis. Users thus have the freedom to enjoy movies in HD/Blu-ray quality.

To connect with external high-definition televisions, V nitro series of Acer laptops include an HDMI port. For connecting with mobile devices, the notebooks feature a Bluetooth and a USB port. 17 inches version of the notebook will carry a price tag within 1200 – 1400 dollars price tag (70000 to 80000 Rs). It will feature Acer’s latest dust defender technology.

The company claims that this technology automatically routes filth and dust particles out of the system. The 15 inches version will cost you around 900 – 1000 USD (Rupees 50000 to 60000 in India). Both the devices are expected to run on Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system.
