This week, Lenovo has officially launched a new Chromebook, the N21 and the latest phablet in the form of Tab 2 A7-30. N21 was introduced in the United states for 220 dollars. The tablet has been launched in India for 11000 Rs. Unlike its earlier model, Tab 2 A7-30 has a better design. The Chromebook seems to be a decent device but it is available only in the US.
The N21 Lenovo Chromebook comes with a Celeron dual-core CPU coupled with 4GB or 2GB RAM. This Celeron chip is based on Intel Bay Trail architecture. The display of this laptop measures just 11.6 inches in size but its resolution is HD.
Lenovo N21 is equipped with 16GB storage and it includes SD card reader for Wi-Fi, USB 3.0 and HDMI port. This Chromebook’s keyboard is resistant to water. Its internal hardware will remain undamaged if N21 is dropped from a height of 27 to 28 inches.
For video communication, Lenovo has fitted an HD webcam to N21. This Chromebook has a battery backup of more than 9 hours.
Lenovo Tab 2 is a voice calling Kit Kat tablet. A7-30 (2015 model) promises rich music experience as it has Dolby sound system. It has an upgraded MT8382 CPU, the MT8382M.
Display of this Lenovo tablet supports multi-touch gestures/events. Tab 2 A730 is available with 16GB or 8GB internal storage memory. Both versions have microSD card slot, g-sensor, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0. They include non-removable 2450 mAh battery, Android 4.4.2 OS, VGA camera and 2.0 MP rear camera.
Both cameras lack the auto-focus support. Users can update the Android OS to version 5.0 (lollipop) over the air. This tablet comes with an ebony black color chassis which is made up of polycarbonate material. It also has a Dolby label painted at the back.
