Gionee and Karbonn are back in the news as they have launched a quad core device in India. Gionee has kept up its promise of launching a 4G technology supporting phone. Karbonn seems to be in no mood to give up adding more handsets to the titanium series. Gionee’s phone is CTRL V6L and Karbonn’s device is named as Titanium Dazzle.
Both these handsets have a few things in common, a quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, Android OS, 8GB storage and other basic features like FM Radio, GPRS, 3G, WiFi,…etc. Their processor manufacturer and model hasn’t been revealed.
The Titanium Dazzle phone runs on version 4.4.4 of Kit Kat OS. It has a 5 inch IPS screen with 480 x 854 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 240/250. This phone from Karbonn flaunts 2 cameras as usual. Back side includes a 5 megapixel camera.
At the front, Titanium Dazzle boasts 2.0 MP camera. Karbonn claims that this handset supports 1080p video recording. It plays 720p video files too. This Kit Kat phone includes SD card slot and a 1850 mAh battery. It will hit the offline/online markets soon for Rs 5500.
Gionee CTRL V6L flaunts Amigo User-interface that runs on the top of Kit Kat 4.4.2 operating system. Its rear camera uses a 8 MP sensor whose resolution can be set to 1920 x 1080 pixels.
This Gionee phone has a 5 MP camera installed above its 5.0 inch HD IPS LCD. It houses 1980 mAh battery and 5 powerful sensors. It can read 128GB microSD cards. CTRL V6L has been priced at 15000 Rs.
Karbonn has slashed the price of its most successful phone, the Android one sparkle to 4999. Thus it is confusing for the customer to decide which handset to choose between titanium dazzle and Sparkle. Gionee CTRL V6L has average specs but it has the hardware that can read high capacity SD cards.
