Elephone P1000 with 3GB of RAM, Snapdragon 801 SoC coming soon

Specs of the upcoming Chinese device Elephone P1000 are leaked online. According to the available details, this mobile runs CynogenMod 11 firmware which has been derived from Google’s Kit Kat v4.4 OS.

It comes with whopping 3 GB of physical memory. Users of P1000 can save around 32GB of data to its on-board storage. This mobile has a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU of 2500 MHz clock speed. This chip is paired with an Adreno 330 graphics processor. P1000 employs a 5.8 inch capacitive IPS touchscreen display.

The screen has an impressive 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. Further, we can expect this device to use OGS or Corning gorilla glass protection as it’s generally found in high-end phones. P1000 is expected to feature 2 cameras, 13 MP rear and a front 5 or 8 MP snapper.

P1000 will rival the flagship killer OnePlus One as both the phones have almost the same specifications. For those are unaware, the device from the startup company Oneplus features the same processing units as its competitor from Elephone.

It runs version 11S of CynaogenMod OS. This mobile supports LTE -4G network connectivity. It comes in 2 different storage capacity models. 16 GB version of OnePlus One carries a 299 dollars (Around 18180 Rupees in India) price tag. 64 GB variant costs within 400 to 500 dollars. This smartphone boasts a touchscreen display of 5 inches and a 1080p resolution. It is fitted with two powerful cameras, a 3.5 mm audio jack, microUSB, 3100 mAh battery, WiFi and Bluetooth.
