Today, Toshiba has launched its latest WT series Windows tablet - WT8-B for Rs 15490. You can buy this tablet in satin-gold cover option through Amazon.in. Toshiba WT8-B can store 128 GB data on SDXC cards and 32 GB data on its ROM.
It is powered with Windows 8.1 operating system. Its browser’s (Internet Explorer) homepage is configured to load Bing search engine on start-up. W-8 offers multi-tasking with a powerful Intel quad-core Z series processor (Z3735G with 2.0 MB cache memory). The clockspeed of the CPU ranges from 1.3 to 1.9 GHz/sec. Most tablets with Intel processors are installed with Intel HD graphics chip and WT8-B is no exception.
Normally, tablets within Rs 14000 to 16000 range are stuffed with 2GB of RAM. But surprisingly, Toshiba has added just 1GB RAM to the WT8-B. This device has an ordinary thickness of 9 millimeters. It weighs below 382 grams. The display of Toshiba MT-8 measures 8 inches in length. It supports 10 fingers multi-touch. Its resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels.
The tablet offers 32 GB storage memory to its users. It houses microSD card slot that supports high-capacity SDXC cards. It has a 3888 mAh capacity battery that supplies constant power for up-to 11 hours. Toshiba WT8-B comes with an auto-focus 5 megapixel camera. It has a fixed focus front 1.2 MP camera. It comes preloaded with Office 365 suite from Microsoft, Amazon, Skype, Xbox apps. Toshiba has also installed some of its native apps in W5-8.
This Toshiba tablet supports 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. It has stereo speakers and Dolby sound technology.
