Along with Moto 360, two brand new smartwatches with heart rate sensors will be arriving at the markets. Samsung will launch its latest wearable gadget, the Gear S and LG will introduce its G watch R by the end of this year.
Both these devices look stunning and they’re expected to be priced in the same range as the Moto 360.
Samsung’s device includes a dual core 1000 MHz CPU. It is loaded with the company’s own Tizen OS. Gear S is packed with an AMOLED touchscreen of 2.0 inches size, 360 x 480 pixels resolution. It has 4 GB free space for data storage.
This smartwatch has a battery rated at 300 mAh and a 512 megabyte RAM. Samsung Gear S is fitted with a gyroscope, accelerometer and compass sensors. It supports voice calling over GSM networks, navigation via here maps from Nokia. Its supports Bluetooth 4.0 and 3G, GPRS and EDGE connectivity. This smart watch can display various alerts and notifications. It can play sound files of MP4, Wav and MP3 formats.
G Watch R has the same memory configuration as the Gear S from Samsung. LG has installed a quad-core 1200 MHz snapdragon 400 processor in this device. Its design is based on the IP67 standard.
This smartwatch flaunts a tiny P-OLED 1.3 inches display. This wearable gadget from LG has Google’s Android wear OS, 410 mAh capacity battery, barometer, compass, gyro and accelerometer sensors. LG G Watch R can be paired with phones and tablets that run Android v4.3 Jelly Bean operating system.
