Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is all set to be launched in Vietnam as its specs have been revealed by an online Vietnamese retailer. This device is the successor to the grand neo phone that was introduced in January this year. It is loaded with a 5.0 MP front facing camera and a rear AF 8.0 MP snapper with a LED flash. The dual cameras can capture 1080p videos.
The handset features Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat OS which is handled by a quad-core 1.2 GHz CPU. This 8.6 mm thin phone has digital compass, accelerometer, light and gyro sensors. It is 5.6 inch long.
This device supports storage expansion with 64 GB microSD card incase user finds its 8GB on-board ROM insufficient to hold files and other useful data.
Just like most of the Samsung phones, Grand prime comes with a 1GB RAM. It supports dual Sim GSM network connectivity.
It can download files at 48 MBPS. It can upload data at 5.2 MBPS. This Samsung handset’s specs includes a multi band WiFi, 2600 mAh battery, stereo FM Radio, audio jack, AGPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Glonass. It can run MIDP based java apps.
Grand Prime comes preloaded with Gmail, Chrome, picasa, Google search, YouTube, document editor and alarm clock. It has a qHD 5.0 inch TFT touchscreen display. The smartphone will rival Sony Xperia C3, IRIS X5, Karbonn S19 and it’s expected to be priced in Rs 14000 to 18000 range in India.
