A new phone, Samsung galaxy core prime has been listed on Flipkart for Rs 8500. The retailer has not revealed the complete specifications, but it has made us aware of the handset’s key features. This latest phone from the Korean consumer technology giant comes with a newer OS, a powerful microprocessor, and better front camera than its predecessor Galaxy Core.
Galaxy Core Prime has the ability to carry 128 GB MicroSD card and 2 SIM cards. It has round edges and a stylish design. Just like its earlier version, this device is stuffed with an 8GB ROM and 1 GB RAM.
Prime has a 4.5 inches touchscreen display which flaunts the stunning user interfaces of Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system. It has front-facing 2.0 megapixels camera. Thus, you can make a video call to any person that owns a 3G network compatible phone.
The handset comes with a WVGA resolution and a full high-definition 5.0 MP rear camera. The display is ordinary as you can get HD resolution set phones for below 8.5K Rupees. The phone is expected to include LED flash and digital zoom.
Under the hood, this budget Samsung handset pack with a WiFi module, quad-core 1.3 GHz CPU, Bluetooth and a 2000 mAh capacity battery. The phone is loaded with a few sensors, games, and apps. It offers 4G-LTE, 3G and GPS connectivity. It is a good alternative to Galaxy Trend, star and duos phones.
Update: Core Prime is now available on Amazon India website for around 9900 Rs. It is one of the best Samsung phones within 8000 to 10000 range.
In the same price range, you can buy the powerful octa-core handsets like Xiaomi Redmi Note and Micromax Yureka (Yu). If you want to buy a budget Samsung phone, then for core Galaxy Core Prime else consider getting Note or Yureka.
