After launching Arya Z2 for Rs 6999, Salora has now come up with a budget 4999 Rupees handset, the Arya A1 Plus. Just like Z2, A1 from Salora offers decent features for an affordable price.

The latest Arya series phone packs with a 4.5 inch IPS touchscreen LCD. It has 240+ pixel density and a qHD resolution of 540 x 960 pixels. Salora has used OGS display technology in this device. The firm has installed a quad-core MT6582A 1.3 GHz Mediatek processor in Arya A1.

This budget phone features 8 GB of onboard storage memory. 2GB space is allocated for the Kit Kat OS and the remaining is for games and apps. The handset includes MicroSD card slot and 1GB of RAM. It offers Dual SIM network connectivity. Just like all other latest mobiles within Rs 4500 to 5500 Range, this phone is powered by Android Kit Kat OS (4.4.2).

The body of Salora Arya A1 plus is just 9.7 millimeters thick. It features LED flash and 5.0 megapixel AF camera at the back. Its front side boasts a 2.0 MP camera. Thus, you can make video calls with A1. The phone has a normal weight of 144.9 grams. It features a MALI 400 MP2 image processor, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.0, 2000 mAh capacity battery and WiFi.

The phone is listed for 5499 Rupees on Amazon India website. It will be available from 13th of December onward for the same price tag + 2 free back-panels worth Rs 500. This 5500 Rupees phone will be in direct competition with Micromax Canvas A1 (Android One).
