Nikon 1 J5 mirrorless camera with 20.8 MP sensor launched

Nikon has unveiled a new range of mirrorless cameras, each labeled as 1 J5. The cameras are available for preorder through bhpphotovideo website for a price tag within 500 to 1100 dollars (30K to 100K Rs).

The official launch date has not been unveiled by Nikon. Anyways, 1 J5 can record ultra high-definition videos at a rate of 15 frames per second. It is available in 4 different options, each equipped with different size Nikorr lens and f3.5 to f5.6 aperture.

Nikon 1 J5 with 10-30 mm lens is the cheapest device that you can buy. It is priced at 499 dollars. If you’re a professional photographer, you can get the same model with 10-100 mm lens for below 1100 dollars.

These cameras have powerful network connectivity options like NFC and WiFi. WiFi can be activated by pressing a button. You don’t have to enable it with through the software.

These cameras inherit the features of Nikon 1 series devices that are known for shooting the fastest images in auto-focus mode. They feature a 20.8 megapixel BIS built with CMOS imaging technology that can capture max 20 frames in continuous shot mode. They have a 3 inch LCD touchscreen and a latest Expeed image processor.

The display can be tilted to any angle below 180 degrees by the user. This is an useful feature as you can capture better group selfie images.

Nikon 1 J5 can record 1080p FHD videos at a good rate of 60 frames per second. You can also record slow motion videos at a 2 times faster rate. The latest Nikon mirrorless cameras comes preloaded with a software that reduces noise in images shot with a specific ISO setting.

They have a 105 points hybrid auto-focus system that can detect slightest change in objects that will be captured by the user. Nikon 1 J5 includes several new photography modes. To name a few, there’s creative and sports mode.
