Lenovo is not done yet with its Miix line of budget windows tablet as it has added one more device to this series. The Chinese manufacturer has unveiled the specs and price of Miix 3 at an event held in its home market.
The tablet would be first launched in China for under 250 dollars followed by other countries where Lenovo operates. With 0.3 kg weight, this device features a 15 watts battery that generates power for upto 7 hours. It has dual cameras with 2.0 megapixel sensor. The tablet has black color painted aluminum chassis. It comes with Z3735F quad-core 1.3 Ghz Bay Trail CPU paired with HD graphics from Intel.
Lenovo Miix 3 supports Open GL 3.0 and Drectx 11. It has 32/16 GB on-board storage. SD cards can be connected to this tablet PC. Miix3 has 7.850 inch with 1024 x 768 pixel HD resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. As the display is large, users can read eBooks and edit documents easily.
Under the hood, it is installed with WiFi 802.11, 2GB RAM and Bluetooth. It is loaded with some apps maintained by Microsoft corporation (Skype, Office, Here Maps, Internet Explorer, Outlook) . It also features third-party softwares from the Windows app store.
Lenovo Miix3 is 9.3 mm thin. It supports video calling via skype, internet browsing and cloud storage. The tablet will compete with Xiaomi MiPad in India. It is a good budget alternative to Asus VivoTab Note 8.
