Ubuntu Linux operating system running Imp mini PC has been announced for consumers. This device is compact and powerful. It supports wireless connections between computers, phone, tablets and laptops. Thus you don’t have to connect a USB cable to manage files on your PC or mobile device.

The design and development of this machine has been inspired from HardKernel Odroid U3 - a developer board without a ROM.

Users who wish to own U3 must install a storage hardware and OS manually. Incase you are finding it difficult to use Odroid U3 then you should check out the IMP Ubuntu mini PC.

This device packs with the U3 board. It has been configured with 1700 megahertz quad-core ARM V9 processor. It features Cinnamon desktop environment and 2 GB of on-board system memory.

IMP PC comes with 8 or 16 GB storage memory. It has mini HDMI port. Thus you can pair your HD LED monitor or TV with this machine. It can connect with wireless trackpad and keyboards. IMP comes with multiple USB and a single Ethernet port. It is fitted with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. It requires 5V input power.

IMP has Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox browsers preloaded. It can be paired with media casting devices like Miracast, Chromecast,…etc. It has 3.82 x 1.22 x 3.82 (W, H, D) inch dimensions. It is a good alternative to Raspberry Pi.
