HTC had launched a lot of Android OS powered Desire series of budget mobile phones in India during the financial year 2014. Excluding Desire 816, 816G and 820, most of HTC handsets had failed to get the attention from the public. Phone markets in the 1st half of 2014 was dominated by domestic players like Micromax, Lava and Intex. In the 2nd half (after June 2014), brands like Motorola, Xiaomi, Huawei ruled over the Rs 5000 to 15000 handset markets.
Desire 526G+ is HTC’s first phone this year (2015). This handset was officially launched today for a price tag of Rs 10400 in 2 variants, each with 8 or 16GB storage capacity. It features Mediatek MT6592 1.7 GHZ octa-core processor and Mali 400 series GPU. HTC Desire 526G plus runs of HTC sense UI – a modified Android Kit Kat OS. It features 2 SIM card slots and a 4.7 IPS qHD touchscreen display. This HTC octa core phone below 12000 packs with 1GB RAM. It has 8.0 megapixel rear camera which is paired with LED flash system and AF. Back camera of this phone supports HD and Full HD modes of video recording. 526G+ includes a 2.0 megapixel front camera. Users should be able to capture good quality images with this camera.
For better music experience, HTC has installed 2 speakers on the front side of Desire 526G+ handset. It has also added a 2000 mAh battery. HTC Desire 526G+ is 9.8 mm thin and it has 153.9 grams of weight. This Android device comes with dual SIM and microSD card slot. It has HTC Blinkfeed notification system, WIFI, Bluetooth, A-GPS, 3G and FM Radio. Both 8 and 16GB version of HTC Desire 526G+ will be sold for around 11000 on Snapdeal. This Android device with a wide range of octa-core phones that includes Micromax Yureka, Alcatel One Touch flash, Redmi Note 4G.
