HP’s Envy series of laptops has been there for a long time. X2 is the newest member of the company’s Envy line of affordable laptops. This new machine comes with some unique features. Its back-lit keyboard supports wireless operations, and it can be detached from the body of the laptop. This is an interesting feature. If you disconnect the keyboard, you can use the screen as a tablet.

The other part (display) of this machine is fitted with a full high-definition 13.3 inches touchscreen display. The content displayed on the screen can be easily viewed from various angles.

HP Envy x2 is packed with an Intel Broadwell Core M multi-core processor. Broadwell series of microprocessors are known for their silent operations. Unlike Core I series, Broadwell processors are not very much dependent on an external cooling system.

Envy X2 ships with Microsoft Windows 8.1 operating system. It also includes Intel high-definition graphics chip. Along with the OS, the Envy X2 is preloaded with HP connected music, drive, and photo services. It is expected to feature Microsoft Office software too.

HP Envy X2 price in India

Envy X2 has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/c module to support internet connectivity. The laptop promises 24 hours of battery backup, thanks to its energy-efficient CPU. Unlike most other laptops, the X2 is based on fanless design. Thus, users won’t hear any annoying sounds from the machine. The fanless design can be considered one more reason for this touch laptop’s excellent battery backup.

The laptop comes with an high-definition beats sound system and a web-camera. It features a 128 GB SSD and a 4GB RAM. The configured system memory is decent considering HP Envy X2 touch’s 800 dollar price tag. If you’re not impressed with the memory specs, you can upgrade it. This laptop is listed on the HP online store for around $799 (49000 in India).
