2 new Asus tablets, the Fonepad 7 with model number FE171CG and MemoPad 8 will be listed on Flipkart this month. This news has been confirmed by Peter Chang, the regional head of Asus Asia. Chang has stated that the new tablets from Asus boots the preinstalled Android OS fast and it offers high speed network connectivity options.
Asus Memo Pad 8 is a high configuration tablet that features quad-core 2.3 GHz Z3580 Intel Atom processor. Intel CPUs offer good multi-tasking and better features than processors from Mediatek or Snapdragon. Thus there’s no doubt that MemoPad 8 is a powerful tablet.
This device from Asus comes installed with Zen user interface and Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS. It has a full high definition IPS 8 inch touchscreen display, 2 MP front and 5.0 MP back camera.
This Asus tablet packs with 16GB storage memory. It comes with 4350 mAh battery, microSD card slot and SIM card slot. It is suitable for voice calling and browsing internet with 4G-LTE network connection. Its camera specs are not that great. But it shouldn’t bother you if you’re planning to buy a tablet for gaming purposes.
Asus Memo Pad 8 will be available in pink, blue and white color options for a price within 19000 to 20000.
Asus Fonepad 7 FE171CG is a dual core Android Kit Kat tablet with decent configuration. Design-wise, this tablet looks similar to Asus Zenfone 5. It houses Intel Z series (Z2520) 1.2 GHz chip. It has a 3950 mAh capacity battery. Just like Memopad 8, this device flaunts the Asus custom Zen UI. Fonepad 7 boasts 8 megapixel rear and 2 MP front cameras. It is 3g and WiFi enabled Asus tablet with 7 inch screen.
The display has 1024 x 600 pixel resolution. Fonepad 7 FE171CG will be priced below 11000 on Flipkart. It will be available in white, black color options.
