Mega 2, the newest member of Samsung’s galaxy series is now available for purchase at 20990 Rs. This mid segment handset comes with Snapdragon 410 64 bit quad-core processor. It loads Android Kit Kat 4.4 OS on startup. Mega 2 comes with an extra-large 6.0 inch IPS display that boasts a HD 720p resolution.
This is not surprising as most of the phones in the Mega series feature 5.0+ inch display. To support the chip in multitasking, Samsung has added a 1.5 GB RAM to this handset. This phone’s ROM can store just 8 GB of data. There’s a microSD slot reserved for 64/32 GB cards. It is fitted with a 8 megapixel rear and 5 MP front camera.
It features LED flash, WiFi b/b/n and Bluetooth 4.0. This Samsung 20000 Rs phone records high-resolution 1080p videos. Indian version of Mega 2 is enabled with GPS, 3G, GLONASS connectivity. There’s no 4G support. Instead of the default Android UI, users will interact with TouchWiz.
Samsung galaxy mega 2 is a good competitor to Sony Xperia C3 and Oppo Find 5 but it is not the best phone in the 18000 to 21000 Rs range. 2 better handsets are Huawei Honor 6 and OnePlus One. If you’re interested to own the mega 2, visit Samsung’s online store.
