Champion Apna SQ35 will be a good competitor to the Jivi JSP 20. Priced at 2000 Rs, JSP is a handset loaded with Android GingerBread 2.3 OS. Jivi has added a 128 MB RAM, 1350 mAh battery and 0.256 GB storage to this smartphone.
This device can be stuffed with MicroSD 32GB cards. It features several options for connecting with local or WAN networks. The handset is pre-installed with various social networking apps and YouTube. It also includes a torchlight with a light emitting diode.
The mobile from Jivi has 2.0 MP rear camera and it supports over 5 local Indian languages.
Both the above handsets will rival Nokia and Firefox devices in 1500 to 3000 Rs range. Well, there are a lot of Nokia phones below 2000 Rs in the markets. But they all lack touchscreen feature. Thus, if you’re planning to buy a touchscreen mobile within 1500 to 2000 range, go for SQ35 or Firefox phones. You’ll enjoy better features including internet connectivity. You’ll also get access to Google play store through which you can download various utilities, apps, and light-weight games.
