As expected, Micromax has launched two new Android tablets named Funbook P255 and P650 in the country. While, tP225 is a low cost 3G tablet that can be purchased at a priced between 5000 to 6000 Rupees and the Tab P650 can be purchased from any eCommerce portal in India for a price around 16000 to 17000 Rupees.
Both these devices can be considered the best in their price range as they have all the necessary features for you make use of. Here are the complete details:
Micromax Funbook P255 specifications
Funbook P255 is a dual camera tablet that has a 2MP front camera, a VGA 0.3 MP front camera and a 7.0” touchscreen display (with 480 by 800 pixels screen resolution). It runs the Android Ice Cream sandwich (version 4.04 ) operating system and is equipped with a 1.2 GHz clock speed single core cortex A8 processor.
Funbook P255 has good memory specifications w.r.to price, it has 512 MB RAM and a 4GB data storage capacity that can be expanded with the help of 32GB Micro-SD card. Out of 4GB, 1.15 GB would be available for you and the remaining is used by the system. It is backed up with a 2600 mAh battery which gives standby time around 150-152 hours and 4 hours of internet browsing without having the need of charging the battery during your browsing hours (after the battery of Micromax Funbook P255 is fully charged) .

Micromax P650 specifications
It is supposedly the first tablet in the Canvas series of Micromax tablets. This device comes with a 8.0 inch multi touch touchscreen display which has a 1024 by 768 pixels resolution. It runs the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean OS. Powered with a 1.2 GHz quad-core Mediatek processor, P650 is a dual camera tablet that has a 5 MP rear camera (with LED flash, GEO tagging, autofocus,…etc.) and a front facing 2 Megapixel camera.
It has a 1GB DDR3 RAM and a massive storage capacity of 16 GB which can be improved further through a micro-SD card of 32 gigabytes. P650 from Micromax is backed up with a 4000 mAh battery that can give this tablet a 2G talk-time around 9-11 hours and a 2G standby time around 380-420 hours.
Price in India:-16000 to 17000 Rupees.
