Medion is all set to launch its first X Series smartphone X401 which is also its most powerful smartphone till date. We all know the fact that Lenovo is serious on expanding its Android range of computing devices and its subsidiary Medion might just do a trick for it. Recently the company has launched the Andorid OS powered devices- the Vibe X phone and the S5000 tablet and with Medion X4701 in the queue, the Chinese phone manufacturer would be hoping to see an increase in sales which will further help in improving its overall Android market share. Lets have a look at the specifications of this smartphone.

Medion X4701 is expected to run the latest Android jelly bean or the upcoming key lime operating system.One key reason why almost all the smartphone manufacturers (Including Lenovo ) are powering their devices with Google’s Android OS is because of the availability of a huge range of android applications in the Google play store.Google’s Android OS has forced the smartphone manufacturers to produce powerful smartphones that has the hardware compatible with the Android applications.The processing unit of the Lenovo X4701 comprises of a powerful 1.2 GHz NVidia Tegra 3 chipset that has 4 cores.
Talking about the display, the Medion X4701 is expected to have a 4.7” IPS capacitive touch screen display that has a HD screen resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. Like many of the Lenovo smartphones, the X4701 would be a dual camera smartphone having the capability to record high quality videos.Although its unclear, rumors say that this smartphone would be backed up with a 2000 mAh battery and would have an internal data storage capacity of 8GB which would be expandable through a 32 GB MicroSD card.
