Lenovo’s upcoming E, L, X series thinkpad laptops are affordable

Lenovo has revealed the pricing and specifications of its upcoming E, L, X series of Thinkpad Notebooks at the ongoing CES 2015 event. The laptops are equipped with good specs and they’re affordable. E540 and E550 are Lenevo’s E series budget notebooks. Their pricing starts at 550 dollars. E550 has a larger display than E540 and it includes a real sense 3D camera. It has a 15.0 inch display and E540 has a 14.0″ screen.

Specs of both these 2 thinkpad notebooks can be upgraded by the user. They can be configured with anti-glare HD or FHD display. They can be installed with 16 GB RAM. The laptops support external graphics card, traditional HDDs and solid state drives. They feature Windows OS, HDMI port, USB, Bluetooth, WLAN connectivity modules and a Intel Core I series processor. The laptops are thin and they’ve a weight below 2.5 kilograms.

Lenovo’s L series laptop L450 will be sold in 3 battery options for a starting price of 700 dollars (420000 INR). It features HDMI port, WiFi and other basic connectivity options like Ethernet, Bluetooth. Lenovo Thinkpad L450 has a 14 inch IPS display. Thus it offers better viewing angles. L450 comes with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Users can upgrade the screen resolution to 1920 x 1080 pixels. Lenovo ThinkPad E550, E550 and L450 will hit the markets by the end of next month.

Lenovo’s X series thinkpad laptops X250 and X1 Carbon are equipped with a 5th generation Intel Core I series CPU. X1 packs with a 14 inch 1080p display. It comes with a OneLink Dock. Thus users can connect X1 carbon with HDMI or mDP (mini display) port installed electronic devices. X250 has a 12.5 inch HD screen. Its display can be upgraded. Each of these 2 laptops are 0.6 inch thin and they support LTE network connectivity. X1 Carbon will be priced at 1250$. X250 will be available in the markets (including India) or on Lenovo partner eCommerce portals for 1150$.

    Can Lenovo ThinkPad L450 come with optical drive inbuilt.
