2 new windows 8.1 OS running ultrabooks - the Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 14 and yoga 3 Pro laptop will make their market debut by 31st of October. Infact, the first machine has already been listed on US based online retailer Best Buy for starting price around 1200$ (around 72100 in India).
Lenovo Thinkpad 14 comes with a 14 inch display with in panel switching technology. It has a full high-definition screen resolution. Just like its earlier version, Thinkpad 14 can be easily switched to tablet, laptop and tent modes as it features a hinge that supports rotation up to 360 degrees. The screen is enabled with 10 fingers multi-touch support. The ultrabook is powered with Intel’s Core i5 CPU and Nvidia G40M GeForce GPU.
Thus it is suitable for decent gaming experience or any other entertainment activities. It is stuffed with a solid state 16 GB cache drive and a 1 terabyte capacity HDD. Thus there’s ample of space to store large files. Lenovo Yoga 14 packs with a DDR3L 8 GB RAM. It measure 17.7 mm in thickness. This laptop has 18 x 100 grams weight and its battery generates current for upto 7.99 hours. It is fitted with a 720p HD web-cam and HDMI + USB port. It includes all in one card reader, Bluetooth 4.0 and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
To be honest, this Lenovo ultrabook is overpriced. If you’re not a huge fan of convertible laptops within 70000 to 75000 INR budget, you should consider getting a Core I7 device with 740M or higher GPU instead of the Yoga 14.
