After launching their flagship octa core phones, Intex and Lava have launched an entry-level dual SIM Kit Kat phone for below 3800 Rs. Priced at Rs 3090, Aqua V2 from Intex has average features and it supports 3G. Thus it is ideal for users that are heavily engaged in instant messaging. Although it is fitted with basic hardware, Intex Aqua V2 has a thickness of 10.6 millimeters.
The handset comes with Android Kit Kat 4.4 operating system. It has a Spreadtrum single core 1.0 GHz processor. V2 offers just 104 megabytes of storage space to the user. It supports 32GB microSD cards. V2 packs with 256 MB of RAM. It comes with a high VGA touchscreen 3.5 inch display. This phone has 2.0 MP back, 0.3 MP front camera. It features 1300 mAh battery. According to Intex’s official listing, Intex V2 gives 3 hours of standby time and 480 minutes of talk time. It has a 0.112 Kg weight. GPS, Assisted gps, BLUETOOTH and WiFi connectivity support is also included in the handset.
LAVA IRIS 310 comes with a dual core Mediatek MT6571 processor, LED flash and a 3.5 inch HVGA TFT screen. Surprisingly, this mobile has been installed with Mali 400 MP GPU. Thus image/video quality on IRIS 310 is expected to be better than that of Intex’s Aqua V2. The phone has 1400 mAh rated battery. It includes VGA front and 2.0 MP rear camera. IRIS 310 misses out 3G connectivity but if supports Bluetooth, WiFi and GPRS. It costs around 3700 Rs.
Aqua V2 has much better looks than IRIS 310. Lava’s handset reminds me of Nokia C2-06. Anyways, check out this list of cheap mobiles within 3000 to 3500 if you’re not very much impressed with these 2 devices.
