Amazon had launched its fire phone, but despite having a large customer base, the eCommerce giant managed to sell just 35000 units of it. This proves that no matter how famous the organization is if it launches tablets or phones at a very high price tag, the device will be kicked out of the competition.
Amazon has learnt a lesson from the poor show of its fire phone as it has introduced the latest Snapdragon 805 CPU powered Kindle Fire HDx 8.9 tablet for just 21000 Rs (350$).
The device is fitted 8.9 inches touchscreen that generates 100% sRGB colors. It has 340 dots per inch, 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and 374 grams weight.
Its processor has 2200 MHz clock rate and 4 cores. This tablet under 25000 is incorporated with an Adreno 330 GPU. It employs 8.0 MP HD camera at the back.
Under the hood, Amazon Kindle Fire HDx 8.9 is loaded with 2 GB RAM. It has 2 speakers that use Dolby digital plus technology to produce sound. It also features a camera that records at the same resolution as the rear snapper.
The tablet offers 720 minutes battery backup for browsing the internet and playing videos. It is 7.8 mm thin. It is available in 16, 32 and 64 GB storage versions enabled with 4G or WiFi connectivity.
Preloaded with the Amazon app store, HDX 8.9 is a good alternative to Google Nexus 7C and Apple IPad 2.
