Imagine you have a latest Phillips toaster in your kitchen. Samsung air-conditioner + a Sony plasma TV in living room and a LG cooler in the bedroom. In this case, you’ve to work with 4 different remote controls. This number will increase if you get some more electronic products at your home.

Universal remote gives you an option to dump other controllers, but most of them are ugly. They have too many buttons on them. To know the functionality of every button, you’ll have to spend some time with the controller. A cool gadget called IRBeacon is a good replacement to universal and all other types of remotes.

This gadget is encompassed with LE Bluetooth and IR hardware. It can control all infrared receiver installed electronic appliances.
