Canon Powershot G16 launched in India

Canon’s Powershot series is known to be one have some of the finest cameras on the earth and G16 is one of them. This camera was launched worldwide few months ago and it had seen a lot of positive reviews.

The good news for the passionate photographers in India is that this camera has now been officially launched in India. Weighing around 355 grams, this device comes with the digic 6 microprocessor. Measuring just 78 x 109 x 40 millimeters in dimensions, the G16 comes with a 12.1 megapixel complimentary metal oxide semi conductor (CMOS) sensor and can easily record high definition 1080 pixel videos. Priced in India around 34000 - 35000 Rs, G16 comes with lithium ion battery that keeps this powerful camera powered upto 360 shots.

This device supports 5x optical zoom and popular file formats like JPEG, RAW. ..ETC. Whats amazing about the g16 is that it comes with WiFi support which ensures rapid image/video transfers between camera and computing devices.

This Canon camera features a 3.0 inch LCD display that has an impressive 922001 pixel screen resolution. The maximum image resolution supported by the power shot G16 is 4000 x 3000 pixels. G16 also supports optical as well as lens based image stabilization.

The supported image filters by G16 are auto, forced, suppressed, rear curtain, dynamic range correction, red-eye reduction, sharpness, red, green, blue, skin tone, shadow correct, contrast, saturation, slow synchro,…etc.
