There’s a good news for mid range smartphone buyers and bad news for LG, Samsung, Oppo, HTC, Sony and other popular brands that are selling handsets for under 25000 Rs. OnePlus One phone, popularly known as the flagship killer is about to enter the Indian markets in 2 to 3 storage capacity variants.
64 GB ROM equipped OnePlus one will be priced below 25000 Rupees. This handset averages around 45000 in antutu benchmark scores. Thus making it better than Huawei Honor 6, HTC 820Q and Nexus 5 phones that are priced within 20000 to 25000 Rs range. OnePlus One is loaded with a Cyanogen Mod (An Android Kit Kat variant) OS. It has a 1080p touchscreen display built with IPS technology. This phone employs a 3100 mAh capacity battery. It features 3 GB of RAM and many sensors. It packs with an Adreno 330 image processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core 2.5 GHz CPU. OnePlus One phone is enabled with dual LED flash, 5.0 MP front camera and a 13.0 megapixel back camera. As you see, this phone has powerful features, hence it is suitable for all types of purposes (including gaming at FHD resolution.
Initially, the phones will be sold in India by this invitation system. The company might partner with Amazon, Flipkart, eBay or Snapdeal to make the handset available through eCommerce platform.
Update: 64 GB variant of this phone is available for 21000 Rupees on Amazon. Indian version of this phone will run on Android lollipop 5.0 OS (not cyanogenmod).
