Microsoft corporation has extended the Lumia line of Win 8.1 handsets by launching Lumia 640 and its variant. The new phone from Microsoft is available exclusively on flipkart. The other variant, 640 XL is listed on Amazon.in. Lumia 640 was first spotted at mobile world congress event a couple of months ago. Now it is retailing online in India for 11999 Rupees.
Microsoft is offering 1 TB of OneDrive storage space and 1 year of free Office 365 subscription. These 2 offers are worth 100 dollars. You can use the office suite on your laptop without any charges. The deal is good as you’ll be able to update the Office 365 for free. The update is expected to be released once Windows 10 is officially available in the markets.
Lumia 640 XL and its sibling come with Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1200 megahertz processor. They have high-definition LCD, onboard 8GB storage memory, Gorilla glass 3 protection, Lumia Denim update and 1GB RAM. They can read SD cards of 128GB storage volume. The support WCDMA and GSM network connections. The LCD in Microsoft Lumia 640 is of 5.0 inch size. It has a pixel density below 295. This Microsoft phone has 0.9 MP front camera.
