Micromax Splash Dust Proof, IP67 certified phone coming soon

MMXNewscaster has leaked the image of Micromax’s upcoming dust proof phone - Splash. This phone is claimed to be dust resistant and has passed the IPS7 certification. IPS67 aka international protection rating is used to classify mobile computing devices on the basis of the devices ability to stay protected from dust, water.

From the leaked image of the Splash phone, it seems like the device runs the Android jelly bean OS and has a 5 megapixel rear camera. The rear camera must be equipped with LED flash and should be able to record 720p HD videos. We can expect this upcoming Micromax phone to support 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS as well.

Well, the tweet from MMXnewscaster has the unconfirmed word in it, hence we’ll have to wait for some more days till the phone’s specifications are out or the Splash phone’s launch in India is confirmed by MMX. Anyways, we can expect this device to have the below specifications (if this phone is really in existence) :-
