Maxx mobiles has listed online 2 brand new dual Sim phones AX51, AX505.These 2 devices are available for purchase in dark blue, white color options at a price around 9999 Rs. Along with the price, both these phones share almost same set of technical specifications. 3G connectivity and WCDMA network support are the only points of difference between these 2 devices in which AX51 lacks 3g functionality and supports GSM network connectivity only.
With a 5 inch IPS touchscreen display (with 480 x 854 pixel resolution) and dual Sim with dual Standby functionality, these 2 Maxx mobiles are equipped with Android jelly bean 4.2.2 operating system. Both these Android jelly bean dual Sim smartphones are powered with a Mediatek MT6572W microprocessor which clocks at 1200 MHz speeds (1.2 GHz).
Both Maxx AX51 and AX505 duo use a 1700 mAh battery to give a decent talktime around 4/6 hours and a standby time around 200/210 hours. Both these devices feature a 3 megapixel rear and a VGA front facing camera. The back camera has LED flash that can be used to click photos/record videos during night. Talking about the memory specifications, 4GB storage can be considered decent and 512 MB RAM is a bit disappointing as there are many smartphones under 10000 Rs that come with a 1GB RAM. Thus people who prefer using a 1 GB RAM phone may neglect these 2 devices. Both these phones storage is expandable via a 32 GB microSD card. AX 51 supports GSM + WCDMA network connectivity whereas AX505 is a GSM network only phone.
