After the launch of youth 7 tablet, Huawei is gearing up to launch one more device in its MediaPad series. This device from the MediaPad series is reportedly being labelled as X1. The specifications of this upcoming tablet have been revealed online without its price. From the specifications, it seems like Huawei is in mood to compete with Amazon Kindle Fire and Google nexus 10 tablets that sports similar features as the MediaPad X1. Expected to be sleek 7.5 millimeters thick, this Huawei budget tablet is expected to run the latest Android jelly bean update or the Kit Kat operating system.
MediaPad X1 would feature a 7 inch Full high definition (HD) IPS capacitive touchscreen LCD display. The display should be protected with Corning Gorilla Glass technology.The screen resolution of this device would be 1920 x 1080 pixels.
This upcoming Android tablet will boast a pixel density around 320 - 340. With 2GB RAM, this device is expected to come with a 16/32 GB internal storage memory. This tablet is expected to support storage expansion via MicroSD cards. Powered with a Cortex A9 architecture based Quad Core chipset, 3G enabled X1 would come with 2 cameras. Rumors say that X1 has 13.0 MP back, 5.m0 MP front cameras. This Android device will weigh around 236/237 grams and it get Kit Kat update.
Complete specs of X1 will be revealed at the international event - mobile world congress. The expected price in India of Mediapad X1 is around 18000 - 20000 Rs.

Update: This device has been launched here in India as Honor X1 for 17990 Rs. It lacks Corning gorilla glass protection. It comes with quad-core balong 1.5 GHz CPU, 5000 mAh battery. Its screen supports 178 degree wide angle views. The GPU in X1 is powerful.
