Hisense, the popular Chinese electronics appliances manufacturer is back in the news with its newly launched tablet Vidaa Pad 8. Priced at 165 dollars, this new device is just 6.35 millimeters thin and its computing hardware is packed within an aluminum chassis. It is one of the thinnest tablet in the world.
The machine has an IPS 7.85 inch retina touchscreen display. It has an impressive 2048 x 1536 pixel screen resolution. Apple uses similar technology in its IPad series of tablets. The display specs can be considered the best in the 150 to 170 dollars range. Hisense Vidaa Pad 8 comes with a quad-core Rockchip 1.8 GHz RK288 processor. The Hisense VidaaPad 8 tablet is a must have device for people who use mobile devices for watching videos or television shows. For people who use tablets for professional or gaming purposes, they should consider buying a device with Nvidia Snapdragon or Mediatek CPU.
As of now, the vidaa pad 8 is being sold in China for a price around 1000 Yuan (around 9999 in India) through the online retailer Jingdong Mall. Hisense may make the tablet available for its potential customers in other countries via sites like Aliexpress and Alibaba.
