If you were waiting for the launch of latest IMac desktop then your wait is over. Apple has today introduced its flagship PC to the markets. This new device incorporated with some unique features and it costs more than 2000$ (above 122000 Rs in India).
It has a stunning 5120 x 2880 pixel screen resolution. The Imac is available in 21.5 and 27 inch display size versions stuffed with an Intel microprocessor. It is enabled with turbo boost mode. Its screen is fitted with 2 thunderbolt ports that support data transfers at the rate of 20 GB/sec. The desktop supports 256, 512 GB and TB PCIe flash storage drives. It runs on Apple’s OSX Yosemite OS. It is installed with DDR5 architecture based memory dedicated graphics memory card.
The entry level 2500$ model packs with a 1 terabyte capacity fusion drive. It is loaded with Core i5 3500 MHz quad-core CPU. This version of Imac comes with 8 GB of RAM and AMD R9 M290x graphics card. The 27 inch display version comes with a faster Core i7 4.0 GHz processor. It features a 3 TB fusion drive, AMD M295 MX chip and a whopping 32 GB of system memory. This desktop is priced at 4500$.
Both versions of the Apple Retina IMac 2014 are preloaded with IMovie, iWork, iCloud and garageband softwares. They are available for online purchase through the Apple store.
