Samsung has today unleashed its 3 new Android Kit Kat handsets for the Indian markets. Labelled Galaxy Star 2, Advance and ACE NXT respectively, these 3 mobiles belong to the sub 5000 - 8000 Rs range. With price in India around 5000 Rs, Star 2 is cheapest handset in this list. It flaunts TouchWiz UI on v4.4.2 Android OS. This device gets a small HVGA 3.5 inch capacitive touchscreen with an IPS panel. Its assets includes a 2 MP camera, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of internal storage. This Samsung mobile under 8000 Rs gets power supply through a 1300 mAh battery.
It misses out 3G nor does it supports GPS navigation. On the other hand, Galaxy Ace Next & Advance are GPS & 3G enabled phones. They have a system memory of 512 megabytes, 4GB of on-board storage and a 3 MP camera with LED flash. These 2 mobiles comes with a 4.3 & 4.5 inch IPS display with capacitive touchscreen respectively. A dual core 1.2 GHz processor handles calculations & multi-threading in both these handsets. Current is supplied by a 1800/1500 mAh battery in the Galaxy Advance/Ace next. All these 3 Samsung phones support Bluetooth, EDGE, FM Radio. They have microUSB, 2 Sim card & microSD slots. They have a 3.5 mm audio jack, games and Android apps (including a web-browser with flash) installed.
