2 of the most anticipated Oppo phones R5 and N3 are now official. The handsets are listed on Oppo’s website along with their price tags. R5 is 4.85 mm thin phone with a 8 core 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 SoC. Its CPU has an average 1.5 GHz clock speed.
Gionee S5.1 has a thickness of 5.1 mm. Thus R5 leaves the S5.1 behind in the race of thinnest phones in the world. This handset is supported by a full HD 5.2 inch Amoled touchscreen display. It has 154.9 grams weight, 16GB ROM and Android Kit Kat 4.4 OS. Oppo R5 comes with 2GB of RAM, non removable 2000 mAh battery and Adreno v405 - one of the latest GPU from Qualcomm. It employs a 4K resolution compatible Sony 13 MP Exmor RS sensor at the back. At front, this smartphone flaunts a 5.0 MP camera. This phone is priced around $500 (30000 Rs). When launched, It will be nice alternative to HTC Desire 820.
Oppo N3 on other hand will you cost around 40000 Rs. It has a quad-core Snapdragon 2.5 GHz chip paired with Adreno 320 GPU and 2GB RAM. It packs with 3000 mah battery, 5.5 inch FHD display and 32 GB of ROM. N3’s highlighting feature is its swivel camera with 16.0 MP Carl Zeiss sensor. This shooter can be tilted up to an impressive 205 degrees. N3 also features a revamped notification LED, Color OS 2 and fingerprint sensor. Camera specs of N3 are awesome and this is probably the only reason why people might buy this phone. Oppo is expected to release Android Lollipop based ColorOS for both R5 and N3.
As they pack with Snapdragon processors. both the above phones support quick-charge mode. They’re expected to go on sale by the end of November.
