Today, Intex has launched its cheapest dual SIM octa-core phone in India. The firm has named the device as Aqua power. It has introduced the handset in 4 attractive color options.
Aqua power from Intex features a 1.4 GHz clock speed set MT6592M Mediatek processor. It has a 5 inch large IPS capacitive touchscreen LCD. The screen is laminated. Thus, it won’t get easily damaged from dust particles or scratches.
The LCD has a 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Intex has stuffed the handset with an impressive 4000 mAh capacity battery that charges up to 100% in just 150 minutes. Android Kit Kat (version 4.4) OS has been installed on the phone’s 8 GB onboard storage memory. Intex has promised Android Lollipop update for this phone.
Intex Aqua Power is fitted with a decent 1 GB of RAM and it includes a microSD expansion slot. Its camera specifications are comparable with that of Huawei Honor Holly. The phone includes 2 MP front camera and 8 MP back snapper. It has AF system and LED flash.
Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, 2.75G, FM Radio and GPS connectivity options are included in this handset. Just like Redmi 1s and Note, Aqua power can function as a hotspot (Wi-Fi) for other devices. It includes various sensors (including pedometer for fitness conscious people).
Aqua Power is certainly of the best Intex phones till date. It is also a tough competitor to Alcatel One Touch flash. Although, Intex Aqua power has nice specs, investing 500 Rs more will get you Redmi Note, a phone with 2GB RAM.
