After introducing its powerful device - the Ascend Mate 7 at 2014’s IFA event, Huawei has today launched its Honor Play 4 phone in China for a price tag just under 150$. This handset features the recently introduced 64 bit Snapdragon 410 Qualcomm CPU.
This latest chip has 4 cores, each clocking at 1.2 GHz. This phonehas a IPS capacitive touch panel with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. This new device in the honor series is incorporated with a 8GB ROM. It includes 1GB RAM and an Adreno GPU. It is fitted with a textured cover at its back. Thus Huawei Honor Play 4 won’t easily slip out of your hands.
At the back, users will also find a HD 8.0 snapper and a LED flash. This phone comes with dual Sim, 4G-LTE, microSD, WLAN, NFC support and Kit Kat v4.4 Android OS. It is fitted with a 2000 mAh capacity LI-ON battery and a 2.0 MP front camera. Its touchscreen has a size of 5.0 inches.
This budget handset will compete with the octa-core processor powered Redmi Note and WickedLeak Neo Youth phones in the 8000 to 10000 Rs price range. It will also rival the Zenfone 5 from Asus. As it features the latest Snapdragon CPU, gaming in the Play 4 will be fun.
