Facelifted Superb 2014 from the Czech car manufacturer Skoda was unveiled a couple of days ago. Today, the car has been officially launched in India for a price within 18.2 to 25.2 lakh Rupees. As of now 5 variants of face-lifted Skoda Superb’s have been made available for Indian markets.
Out of the 5 models, 3 are petrol based while the remaining 2 are having a diesel engine.
Key Specifications
As expected, the petrol versions of this car are priced in the range of 18 - 22 lakh Rupees. The diesel engine fitted sedan comes with a price tag of 23 - 25 lakh Rs. Petrol version of Superb is powered with a 1.8 TSI engine. The engine gives this luxury car a max 158 bhp power and an impressive 250 Nm of torque.
The diesel version of this car is equipped with a 2.0 liter engine which generates a 140 bhp of power and 320 Nm torque. This vehicle also includes a newly designed bumper, bonnet and a boot lit. This new ride comes with 2 xenon head lamps which are integrated with daytime running light emitting diode lights.
The driver and the passenger’s seat of this new sedan are adjustable with brand new fine tuned electronic controls. Thus you can use it for long journeys. For extra safety, this four wheeler uses disc brakes which are well accompanied with the cars hydraulic braking system. Overall specs of all the variants of Skoda superb are impressive.
