Dell will be soon launching its Venue 10 Pro tablet that runs on Microsoft Windows 8.1 professional OS. This news can be confirmed from the fact that Dell has published a 44 page user guide describing the features of this upcoming device. According to the specifications section of the user guide, this Dell tablet will be shipped along with a keyboard and a stylus.
The keyboard features a slot to mount the tablets display unit. Thus the entire unit can be used as an ordinary laptop. The stylus will be useful in taking notes during presentation or for creating word, excel or power point files without using the software or hardware keyboard. This Windows tablet comes with Z3735F Intel Bay Trail quad-core microprocessor with 8MB of cache memory. It has DDR3L 2GB of 133MHz system memory.
Dell Venue 10 Pro, just like other voice calling and Wi-Fi only tablets doesn’t support RAM expansion. It has Gen7 embedded graphics chipset and HSPA+, LTE, 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth modules. Venue 10 Pro has a docking port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, SD card reader, HDMI and USB connectors. It will be available in the markets in 2 versions, each equipped with a 10 inch LED-LCD touchscreen. One variant will feature a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution and 32GB Of internal storage, the other version will have a full HD screen and 64GB ROM. This Dell Windows 8.1 tablet has 1.2 megapixel HD sensor at the front. It includes a 5.0 MP back camera that can capture 3264 x 2448 pixel images and 1080p resolution videos. This Windows device has 10 x 6 x 0.9 (D x W X H) inch dimension and it has 669.9 grams weight.
It has some decent features. Dell may price the HD version of this tablet around 300 dollars. FHD variant is expected to cost around 400 or 450 dollars.
