Xolo had launched the first Broadcomm processor equipped Opus phone way back in December 2013. This mobile runs on Android jelly bean/ kit kat operating system (the company has recently rolled out an update). Now the company has listed online its successor named Q1000 Opus 2 for a price tag around 9000 - 10000 Rs. This device comes with v4.3 Android OS and uses it the processing power of Qualcomm 1.2 GHz Snapdragon quad core along with Adreno 302 GPU. It packs with an auto-focus enabled, LED flash equipped 8 megapixel back camera. For video calling, there’s a 2MP camera at the front. The phone supports high definition video recording. It has 2 Sim card slots, mircoSD, microUSB slots. XOLO Q1000 features a 1GB system memory, 4GB ROM, 2000 mAh battery. This 9.3 mm thick device comes with 3G network connectivity support. It has a large 5 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display. The phone comes with a better resolution as compared to FWVGA resolution of the earlier version of this phone. It is set to QVGA 540 x 960 pixel resolution. Q1000 from LAVA also supports Gloass, GPS, AGPS navigation technologies. It’s hardware gets electric current through a 2000 mAh battery. This device has decent hardware in it but not better than Micromax Unite 2. If you’re not very camera or photography fanatic then Unite 2 is the best available option for you. Dual Core Motorola Moto E is yet another good alternative to Opus 2.
Now a day, Smartphone means great camera with flash. I think XOLO has given both options in this smarphone along with good hardware and that’s what makes a better choice.
